Character's Feelings

When a character feels something in the story it is a character trait. How a character looks is also a character trait. I like to call the feelings the inside of the character and the way they look the outside of the character. You and your partner will get to practice inferring inside and outside character traits. Pick any book you like and character. Then as you read come up with the inside and outside character traits for that character. When you feel comfortable with this you will come and get the Mr. Putter inside and outside assignment from the teacher. You will both need to complete the assignment but you may work together if you like. Read the passage about Mr. Putter and then record your thinking. Turn in the assignment when you are finished. If you need help look at the examples below.
