Inferring character traits with textual proof
Inferring Character Traits with Textual Proof
Everything you are inferring about a character either comes from the words(text) in the or the pictures. Today you are going to practice only inferring from the words in the book. You and your partner will pick any book you would like to work with. You can make the poster on white paper using stickies or you can use Popplet or picollage. You will put the character in the middle. You may either write the characters name or get a picture to put in the middle. You will then write down some of the character's trait. Under the trait you will put the words from the book that made you infer the trait. When you are finished turn it in and move on to the next step in the project. If you need help look at the example above.
